Hailing from New Zealand, 2thirty8 has spent the last 12 years living in Thailand and the United States. Since 2008 he’s held down both club and radio residencies (UPFM, Boosh FM, KSDT and most recently Particle FM).
They’ve supported an array of touring artists such as Goldie, Ben UFO, CTRL-Z, Foreign Beggars, The Freestylers, Mampi Swift, Flux Pavilion, Doc Daneeka, Ikonika, Jakes, Addison Groove, DJ Zinc, Nero, Total Science, Submorphics, Mosca, and many more.
Recently, 2thirty8 made the move to Gozo, Malta, continuing to spread their unique blend of amen breaks and bass music, ranging from Jungle, Liquid and Footwork to Dubstep, Grime & UK Garage.
With an impressive track record, Steel Alive has shared the stage with artists like Panda Dub, Uzul, Joe Pilgrim, and Balaphonik Sound System, performing across France, Reunion, and Switzerland. Their discography includes Spread the Word (2014), Timing is Critical (2017), and Connecting… Please Wait (2022).
In 2024, they launched their own label, Bass Cookers, collaborating with French dub pioneer Pilah (Dub Addict Sound System/Kaly Live Dub). To mark their 10th anniversary, they are organizing two Alive Dub Festivals, set for France in October and Reunion in November, continuing their mission to innovate and inspire.
2014, the year when he arrives to Malta, marks the biggest change in the DJ’s life. Here he starts his collaboration with an British radio station Bassport FM and hosts the weekly cast MIB Crew Revolution.

Over the years 4Ace has shared the Dj booth with main stay artists like Jeff mills, Dax J, Cleric, Jonas kopp, Shifted and more. He’s also crossed borders to Sicily’s One Day Music Festival, playing alongside icons Derrick May and Ellen Alien.
From the early days till the present day. 4Ace has become known for his particular choice in track selection. Always looking for that build up followed by emotion and groove. Now exploring diverse sounds from Techno to Drum & Bass, his sets are a journey through his vast musical passions.
Not short after he started playing at various events in and around his hometown Turnov.
Moving in 2014 to the beautiful island, Malta, was a big move either life- and Djing wise for him .
Few months later he continued mixing in small bars and met Jahh Roland the Promoter & Leader of MIB Crew and the members Naxon & Splash.
In early 2018 he became a full member of the crew and started playing at their events and pushing the Drum&Bass movements .
The group performed alongside top dub artists such as Mad Professor, Vibronics, Zion Train, Iration Steppas, BR Stylers, and Ondubground. They released music under the ODG label as part of Step4-I vol.6 in collaboration with Lab Frequency.
In 2009, the project officially became Wise Sound, embracing dub and sound system culture. Led by Wisam and Dkunz, they spread the dub roots culture through vinyl selections and dubplates. The full lineup included Vice’ Wise Horns and Rankin Delgado, delivering a complete dub experience.
Since 2010, following the premature passing of one of their members, they began organizing the Manuel Dub Festival in his honor, hosting top global dub artists every summer.
Neil made history in 2017 with the release of "Time," the first Dubstep & Grime album in Malta, showcasing his mastery and marking a pivotal moment in the local music scene. With a discography including albums like "Time" and "From Seeds To Skies," and the EP "Magnate EP," Depth's signature sound combines creativity, technical skill, and a passion for pushing boundaries.
His international recognition is highlighted by appearances at Outlook Festival in Croatia and airplay on Rinse FM and 89.7 Bay. Known for diverse event curation across genres, from Hip-Hop to Drum & Bass, Depth's versatile approach reflects a deep understanding of contemporary music culture, solidifying his status as a respected trailblazer in DJing, event organization, and music production on the global stage.
His label, New World Audio, is nearing its 40th release and has helped launch new producers. With events in London, Leeds, Bristol, and Berlin, the label prepared for a 10-year anniversary tour in 2021.
Squarewave is recognized for his deep knowledge of dubstep, drum & bass, jungle, and hip-hop, often playing exclusive unreleased tracks. His festival and club bookings include Fabric, Motion Bristol, multiple Outlook Festival appearances, and international tours across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, and Europe.
His discography features releases on Moonshine Recordings, Hench Records, and Boka Records, with collaborations involving DRS, MC Fats, Congo Natty, and Celph Titled. His music has also appeared in British TV and film, as well as compilations from Ministry of Sound and Rinse FM.
As pioneers in the European sound system scene, they were the first non-UK sound system to perform in Jamaica with their own setup and frequently play at major events across Europe, including University of Dub in London, DubStation in Paris, and ReggaeBus in Brussels. Their performances have also reached the USA, Thailand, Israel, Russia, and beyond.
King Shiloh’s legendary events, such as the DubY2K sessions at Paradiso and Melkweg, and Bunker sessions at NDSM, are vital to Amsterdam's music scene. Their Sound System Weekenders host international reggae icons like Jah Shaka and David Rodigan, cementing their legacy in the global reggae and dub community.

Always delivering deep and dark sets, Volume A is characterised by diverse and notable mixing skills developed through years of experience. After making his Bloom Festival debut at the End of Summer Gathering 2024, he’s back!
Her selections reflect a deep appreciation for reggae’s foundations, from the raw instrumental sounds of ska and rocksteady to modern interpretations of these styles. With a love for both 70s dub and contemporary meditative dub, Mistykal B curates sets that honor tradition while embracing evolution.
Ed's knack for the rudest of hooks is equalled only by his sublime studio skills. He cut his teeth in the mid '90s engineering at the notorious SOUR Records studios, going on to lay down a series of groundbreaking collaborations with jungle kingpin DJ Brockie. In 2007 Ed released ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ alongside Skool of Thought, featuring ‘When I Was A Yout’ and ‘We Play The Music’ among others.
Ed’s partnership with Jungle Cakes partner in crime Deekline has thrown up some of the most memorable tunes of the decade. More than 70 shows a year across the globe are testament to the connection the crew have with their audience.
Ed recently launched his own Supa Subs imprint to cater to alternative sounds, and remains one of Hot Cakes' busiest artists, a legendary selecta ready to bring the heat to any dance.
Beyond his work with Newham Generals, Footsie has had a successful solo career, dropping projects like King Original (a series showcasing his production work) and No Favours, his 2020 debut solo album featuring collaborations with JME, CASisDEAD, and D Double E. His King Original series also highlights his deep-rooted influence on grime instrumentals.
Over the years, Sukh's music has evolved, seamlessly blending elements of various genres while staying true to his foundations. Drawing inspiration from UK culture and his Indian heritage, he has contributed to some of Dubstep’s most iconic tracks, including Ganja Dub, Diesel Not Petrol, P Money’s Slang Like This and Left The Room, and Footsie’s One Spliff and Work All Day—the latter of which was featured as the soundtrack for Apple’s iPhone 13 advert in 2021.
His versatility has led to collaborations with a wide range of artists, including Ed Sheeran, Spragga Benz, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, D Double E, Big Narstie, Congo Natty, and Sultaan. With an international touring history spanning Europe, America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, Sukh Knight continues to push the boundaries of bass music, solidifying his status as a global heavyweight in the scene.
Beyond performing, Mistical Sound System operates an 8-scoop Shiloh Project sound system with 8 Outline mid-high range speakers, all strictly analog. In 2013, Marco co-founded Roots Traders Records & Digital Traders Records with Mighty Prophrt & Roots Sensation, reissuing over 30 releases. In 2019, they launched their first collaborative production, featuring Panda Dub, under Mistical Sound Records.
The collective has also been instrumental in growing the Sicilian sound system culture. They founded Dub Pressure Sicily, one of the island’s largest reggae and dub collectives, promoting vinyl culture and sound system awareness across the region.
